Weather Station

A weather station is mounted within 30 m of the power station and 10 m above it 3 m above the highest point of the building (the lift shaft plant room) and 20 m above ground level. Data is logged from the weather station and presented with data from the power station on this web site (yet to be implemented). Building energy use and, room temperatures will eventually be logged on this site as well. Ambient outside lighting data will be available from the Solar radiometer.

See the weather station web page

The weather station is from Monitor Sensors, Queensland and includes a Solar radiometer, Temperature sensors, Anemometer, Wind direction sensor and Tipping bucket rain gauge. A Normal incidence normal pyroheliometer is also available and together with the Solar radiometer should provide sufficient lighting information.
